Employee & Labor Relations
We manage employee and labor-management relations to promote and contribute to a fair, respectful, diverse, and high-performance culture. ELR provides guidance on complex employment issues, including workplace policies and procedures, and labor contract interpretation, administration, negotiations, and grievances. This guidance includes consulting with local Human Resources offices and managers to navigate and resolve issues related to employee performance, conduct, workplace accommodations, and other issues.
We also assist with interpreting, revising, and developing workplace policies, procedures, and resources.
ELR is also responsible for background check adjudications, staff grievances, the Protection of Minors policy, mandated reporter processes, as well as involuntary terminations and layoffs.
